What a cool and exciting guest we have for you today!
We are so pleased with how this episode turned out because Mike Alger is a man of many talents and our conversation spans a wide variety of topics including some that we are sure you would’ve never expected!
Mike is much more than a weather man and in today’s show he shares the story of his long journey to a news room that includes a game show, a previous career as a petroleum geologist and of course, a long time love of science.
Later, Mike and Justin discuss what it’s like to do the weather and how Mike prepares to go live each night. Mike is a pro at his job and you’ll definitely hear that when he talks about his processes for reporting the weather and his thoughts on what it takes to be a great weatherman.
Last but certainly not least, Justin and Mike wrap up today’s show by discussing Mike’s obscure fantasy/autobiographical novel titled Snow Storm which eventually lead to his new-found hobby of recording audiobooks….
What a cool guy!
Enjoy the show and of course, please be sure to leave us a comment and let Mike know if you loved the episode as much as we did.
See ya next time for our 35th episode of the Just Hertz So Good Show.
P.S. If you’re ever in a bind and need someone to sing the national anthem, Mike is your guy! He’s got pipes!!!
